A necklace is a great way to add something extra to your outfit. However, if you have an embellished or jeweled neckline, you risk overkill. Try a great bracelet or a statement ring instead.

Holiday Styling

I love clothes. This is really not news to anyone that really knows me. Not just clothes. Shoes, accessories, makeup, skin care, inner beauty, outer beauty, you name it. If it makes you look or feel pretty, I know about it, or I want to.

Yesterday, I headed over to Express to help a friend pick out an outfit for a holiday party she is attending this weekend. With the exception of an ugly sweater party, I don't like to dress my people in red and green for holiday parties.

Here's what she's wearing:

Base Layer: Express Black Sequin Tank
Jacket: Express (Minus the) Leather Jacket in Dusty Rose
Pant: Express Barely Boot Zelda jean in Deep Indigo.

Added her own black heels and she's good to go!

When in Doubt...

Wear all black. Seriously. Just make sure the shades of black match.
